Under the label Design for X a wide
collection of specific design guidelines
are summarized. Each design guideline
addresses a particular issue that is a)
caused by, or b) effects the characteristics
of a product. The design guidelines itself
propose usually an approach and corresponding
methods that may help to generate and apply
technical knowledge in order to control,
improve, or even to invent particular
characteristics of a product. From
knowledge-based view, the design guidelines
represents an explicit form of knowledge,
that contains information about "knowing-how-to"
(see Procedural knowledge). However, two problems
are prevailent. First, this explicit knowledge

Register Domain

The term domain name has multiple related meanings:
A name that identifies a computer or
computers on the internet. These
names appear as a component of a Web
site's URL, e.g. wikipedia.org. This
type of domain name is also called a hostname.
The product that domain name registrars
provide to their customers. These names
are often called registered domain names.
Names used for other purposes in the
Domain Name System (DNS), for example
the special name which follows the @
sign in an email address, or the Top-level
domain names like .com, or the names
used by the Session Initiation Protocol
(VoIP), or DomainKeys.

Web Host

A free web hosting service is a web
hosting service that is free, usually
advertisement-supported and of limited
functionality. Free web hosts will either
provide a subdomain (yoursite.example.com)
or a directory (www.example.com/~yourname).
In contrast, paid web hosts will usually
provide a second-level domain along with
the hosting (www.yourname.com). Some free
hosts do allow use of separately-purchased
domains. Rarely, a free host may also operate
as a domain name registrar, but their
registry services are usually more
expensive than others

Pay per click

Marc Ostrofsky is a "domain name" investor,
who has been called a "Technology Wildcatter"
in the Houston Business Journal, [1], May 15,
2000. His venture capital firm has created a
number of successful telecommunication,
publishing and internet based companies.
He is the co-founder of hundreds of web
properties. [2] His best known enterprise
is Internet REIT (iREIT) (also known as
www.iREIT.com), which acquires, develops
and sells internet traffic "wholesale" to
Google for them to resell to others on a
"PayPerClick" basis.[3]

Extra Money

Money creation is the process by which
money is produced or issued. There
are two different ways to create money:
physically manufacturing a new
monetary unit, such as paper
currency or metal coins
loaning out a physical monetary unit
multiple times through fractional-reserve lending
Coins are produced by manufacturing
metal in a factory called a mint.

Work at Home

A work at home parent is an entrepreneur
who works from home and integrates parenting
into his or her business activities.
They are sometimes referred as WAHM
(work at home mom) or WAHD (work at home dad).
Entrepreneurs choose to run businesses
from home for a variety of reasons,
including lower business expenses,
personal health limitations, eliminating
commuting or in order to have a more
flexible schedule. This flexibility can
give an entrepreneur more options when
planning tasks, business and non-business,
including parenting duties. While some
home-based entrepreneurs opt for childcare outside
the home, others integrate child rearing
into their work day and workspace.
The latter are considered work-at-home parents.

Need Money

Money as we know it today is a
symbol of value created by the
human imagination with no intrinsic
value of its own. A coin or paper
currency note has value because people
accept it as a symbolic medium of exchange.
The economic value of money as
measured by its purchasing power is a
subject of economic theory. However
economics does not explain how individual
human beings and societies came to accept
symbolic money as a medium of exchange
or store of value. The process of according
value to a symbol is psychological
and social. Money is a social institution
based on the consent of the population and
a psychological symbol based on the consent
of the individual.[1] Money has acquired
the all-pervasive value that it possesses
today by a slow evolutionary process
that can be most easily understood by tracing
its social and psychological origins from ancient times

Dedicated Hosting

Many weblog applications are available
for users to download and install on their
own systems. A wide variety of licenses
are used by user hosted weblog software.
Some of these are open-source software
that can be used, modified, and
redistributed freely, with no usage
restrictions. Others are proprietary
software that may be licensed for
a fee or have versions available
free of charge.

Lasik

Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis
(LASIK) is a type of refractive laser
eye surgery performed by ophthalmologists
for correcting myopia, hyperopia,
and astigmatism.[1] The procedure
is generally preferred to photorefractive
keratectomy, PRK, (also called ASA,
Advanced Surface Ablation) because it
requires less time for the patient's recovery
and the patient feels less pain, overall;
however, there are instances where PRK/ASA
is medically indicated as a better alternative

Depression

Clinical depression (also called
major-depressive disorder or unipolar
depression) is a common psychiatric

a skin disease, caused by changes in the
pilosebaceous units (skin structures
consisting of a hair follicle and its
associated sebaceous gland). Severe
acne is inflammatory, but acne can
also manifest in noninflammatory
forms.[1] Acne lesions are commonly
referred to as pimples, spots, or zits.

Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is
almost always caused by previous exposure
to asbestos.[1] In this disease, malignant
cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective
lining that covers most of the body's internal
organs. Its most common site is the pleura
(outer lining of the lungs and chest cavity),
but it may also occur in the peritoneum
(the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the
pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart).

Forex swap

In finance, a forex swap (or FX swap)
is an over-the-counter short term
interest rate derivative instrument.
In emerging money markets, forex swaps
are usually the first derivative
instrument to be traded, ahead of
forward rate agreements.

Retail forex

In financial markets, the retail
forex (retail currency trading
or retail FX) market is a subset
of the larger foreign exchange
market. This "market has long been
plagued by swindlers preying on the
gullible," according to The New
York Times[1]. It's commonly thought
that about 90% of all retail FX
traders lose money.

Forex scam

A forex scam is any trading scheme
used to defraud individual traders
by convincing them that they can
expect to gain a high profit by
trading in the foreign exchange
market. Currency trading "has
become the fraud du jour,"
according to Michael Dunn of
the U.S. Commodity Futures
Trading Commission. [1] But
"the market has long been plagued
by swindlers preying on the
gullible," according to the New
York Times [2]. "The average
individual foreign-exchange-trading
victim loses about $15,000,
according to CFTC records" according
to The Wall Street Journal. [3].
The North American Securities
Administrators Association says
that "off-exchange forex trading
by retail investors is at best
extremely risky, and at worst,
outright fraud."

forex trading

Many U.S. and international companies
provide online trading software and
services for individuals (traders)
who want to speculate on the exchange
rate differences between two currencies.
In doing so, these speculators buy
or sell currencies with the objective
of making a profit when the value of
the currencies changes in their favor,
whether those fluctuations derive from
market news, supply and demand principles,
or geo-political events taking place
throughout the world. In addition, the
forex market is available to trade 24
hours a day, 5.5 days a week, so
customers can trade at nearly any
time, not just when an exchange is open.

forex dealer

A forex dealer provides online trading
services to allow individuals to
speculate on rapidly changing foreign
exchange rates. Forex Dealer Members
(FDMs) are regulated by the CFTC and
National Futures Association in the
United States, as well as by nationa
and local regulatory bodies where
they conduct business, and are held
to stringent business and ethical
standards.

central banks, currency speculators,
multinational corporations, governments,
and other financial markets and institutions.
The average daily trade in the global forex
and related markets currently is over US$
3 trillion.[1] Retail traders (individuals)
are a small fraction of this market and may
only participate indirectly through brokers
or banks, and are subject to forex scams[2] [3].

Debt Consolidation

Debt consolidation entails taking out one loan
to pay off many others. This is often done
to secure a lower interest rate, secure a
fixed interest rate or for the convenience of
servicing only one loan.Debt consolidation
can simply be from a number of unsecured loans
into another unsecured loan, but more often
it involves a secured loan against an asset
that serves as collateral, most commonly a
house. In this case, a mortgage is secured
against the house. The collateralization of
the loan allows a lower interest rate than
without it, because by collateralizing,
the asset owner agrees to allow the forced
sale (foreclosure) of the asset to pay back
the loan. The risk to the lender is reduced
so the interest rate offered is lower.

Credit Cards

This article is about the payment system. For
The Price Is Right game, see Credit Card
(pricing game).

Equity Loans

A home equity loan (sometimes abbreviated HEL)
is a type of loan in which the borrower
uses the equity in their home as collateral.
These loans are sometimes useful to help
finance major home repairs, medical bills or
college education. A home equity loan creates
a lien against the borrower's house, and
reduces actual home equity.Home equity loans are
most commonly second position liens (second
trust deed), although they can be held in
first or, less commonly, third position. Most
home equity loans require good to excellent
credit history, and reasonable loan-to-value
and combined loan-to-value ratios.
Home equity loans come in two types,
closed end and open end.

Mortgages

A mortgage loan is a loan secured by real
property through the use of a mortgage
(a legal instrument). However, the word
mortgage alone, in everyday usage,
is most often used to mean mortgage loan.
A home buyer or builder can obtain
financing (a loan) either to purchase or
secured against the property from a
financial institution, such as a bank,
either directly or indirectly through
intermediaries. Features of mortgage loans
such as the size of the loan,
maturity of the loan, interest rate, method
of paying off the loan, and other
characteristics can vary considerably.

Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is a legally declared inability
or impairment of ability of an
individual or organizations to pay their
creditors. Creditors may file a
bankruptcy petition against a debtor
("involuntary bankruptcy") in an effort
to recoup a portion of what they are
owed. In the majority of cases, however,
bankruptcy is initiated by the debtor
(a "voluntary bankruptcy" that is filed by
the bankrupt individual or organization.

as a broker to cargo carriers operating
large aircraft. Its main base is
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport,
with hubs at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne
County Airport, El Paso International
Airport and Nashville International Airport.

Investing

Investment or investing[1] is a term with
several closely-related meanings
in business management, finance and
economics, related to saving or deferring
consumption. An asset is usually
purchased, or equivalently a deposit is made
in a bank,in hopes of getting a
future return or interest from it. The word
originates in the Latin "vestis",
meaning garment, and refers to the act of
putting things (money or other
claims to resources) into others' pockets.

Online Trading

An online trading community exists to
provide its members with a structured
method for trading, bartering, or selling
goods or services. These communities
often have forums and chatrooms designed
to facilitate communication between
the members. These communities are
sometimes described as the electronic
equivalent of bazaars, flea markets,
garage sales, and so on.

Refinance

Refinancing may be undertaken to reduce
interest costs (by refinancing at a lower rate),
to extend the repayment time, to pay off
other debts, to reduce one's periodic payment
obligations (sometimes by taking a longer
-term loan), to reduce or alter risk
(such as by refinancing from a variable-rate
to a fixed-rate loan), and/or to raise cash
for investment, consumption, or the payment
of a dividend. In essence, refinancing can
alter the monthly payments owed on the loan either
by changing the loan's interest rate, or
by altering the term to maturity of the loan.
More favourable lending conditions may reduce
overall borrowing costs.

Reduce Debt

Debt is that which is owed; usually referencing
assets owed, but the term can cover
other obligations. In the case of assets, debt
is a means of using future purchasing
power in the present before a summation has
been earned. Some companies and corporations
use debt as a part of their overall corporate

finance strategy

A debt is created when a creditor agrees to
lend a sum of assets to a debtor. In modern
society, debt is usually granted with expected
repayment; in many cases, plus interest.
Historically, debt was responsible for the
creation of indentured servants.

Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is a legally declared inability
or impairment of ability of an individual
or organizations to pay their creditors.
Creditors may file a bankruptcy petition
against a debtor ("involuntary bankruptcy")
in an effort to recoup a portion of what
they are owed. In the majority of cases,
however, bankruptcy is initiated by the
debtor (a "voluntary bankruptcy" that is
filed by the bankrupt individual or organization).
